TICK PARALYSIS PREVENTION
NEW OPTION NOW AVAILABLE – to increase protection from Tick Paralysis, we can now turn on your pets immune system to counteract the tick toxin before your pet gets bitten.
No one treatment prevents the ticks. So my advice is to always protect these animals with DRUGS.
In high density tick areas a combination of products are required : for example a collar plus additional pyrethrum type spraying – especially if your dog has gone walk about in the bush. Environmental control is also important :
Keeping grass mowed short , Picking up leaf litter, Fencing off long grass areas
The tick toxin causes a blockage of energy production within the MITOCHONDRIA of the Nerve cells and Muscles, this blockage causes a disruption of the production of Acetylcholine in the mitochondria which results in a paralysis of the muscles, as acetylcholine is the neurotransmitter that connects the nerves to the muscles. This can be seen in electron micrographs of Tick paralysed muscle as Fat droplets accumulating around the mitochondria.

To reset the production of Acetyl Choline it has been found that at least 12 Joules of energy from a laser of at least 855nm wavelength will activate the mitochondria. The laser has to be > 855nm, less than this as been found ineffective. < 12 Joules of energy has also been found ineffective. It simply is not possible to laser every muscle fibre in the body.
THUS Laser acupuncture where massive amounts of energy is inputted into the acupuncture channels is showing INCREDIBLY GOOD results in treatment. So far I have found that at least 100 Joules of energy PER acupuncture point is effective. Remember the studies so far have suggested 12 Joules of energy on the actual muscle itself causes a change. I have to use the acupuncture meridians to transport this energy to the muscles. Multiple treatments every half an hour are required to get the energy in to the muscles.
NOTE the new treatment requires only a single treatment
